Monday 22 June - Midwest Labs Canada is proud to announce that it has launched a new Blog site that will give customers new access to our expertise.

Soil compaction in Western Canada appears to be a bigger issue than we have been told in the past due to the changing nature of our soils.  As we now till more acres the land's tilth is improving and thus it is more easily compacted.  Going forward we need to be looking more strongly at controlled traffic farming systems, timing of operations and possibly deep ripping with min till rippers that leave the land in a relatively minimally disturbed state.
